The OpenAI board decided to put CEO Sam Altman in the hot seat, and President Greg Brockman decided to quit when he got booted from the board.

On November 18

There was no turkey business here. COO Brad Lightcap chimed in, saying it was all about a “breakdown in communication” and not any Thanksgiving mischief.

Khosla Ventures, an early investor, said they’d like Altman back at OpenAI, but they’d support him wherever he goes. That’s some sweet potato support!
